BBQ on Toronto Island – this Saturday

This Saturday Sept 10, we’re having a BBQ and a time of fun and exploring on the Toronto Islands. The weather forecast looks good at the moment. It’s a great way to get away from the crowds and busyness of the city and relax with friends new and old. We’ll be having some good food and games including volleyball.
If you have a bike bring it along or skate board or rollerblades – you can also rent a bike there or from Bike chain at the UofT. We will explore the islands after lunch.

Cost is $6.50 for Ferry plus subway fare.

Food will be provided by Tony. Additional food contributions are optional.
But please bring your own drinks.

How can I get there?

Option 1 - meet at 10.45am at the Ferry Docks. Take the subway to
Union station and catch the 509/510 streetcar from inside the Union
Subway Station. Get off at the corner of Bay St. and Queen’s Quay.
Entrance to Ferry Dock is on the south side of Queen’s Quay, just west
of the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel. Tony will be there at the docks
with a group of people biking.

Experience, 33 St George Street. Max will lead a group from the UofT.
