Friday September 24, 6pm - Potluck Dinner at Max and Mei Rideout’s

There’s a potluck party for international students at the home of Max and Mei Rideout. This is a good opportunity to meet some other international students and some native Canadians too. We will celebrate Chinese Midautumn Festival. (email or phone for directions)

A potluck is a party to which each guest brings some food to be shared. It is called “pot” because food is often brought in pots. It is called “luck” because if you are unlucky, everyone will bring the same thing and the meal will be very boring. But if you are very lucky everyone will bring something delicious and you will have a great meal! You could bring chips, drinks, desert, some fruit, appetizer or a main course.
